  • In the “young composers” category, the work selected as most worthy for worldwide broadcasting was Rocailles de l’après-vie…for large ensemble (2022) by young Dutch composer Thomas van Dun (b. 1995). The composition was presented by Netherlands Public Broadcasting.

    International Rostrum for Composers

    Trouw ★★★★

"We chose the painter who conveyed the most emotion, who showed the most courage and individuality, but who also possessed the broadest painting technique.

Marc de Beyer on Van Dun's final work in Project Rembrandt

"We know Thomas as a composer who flawlessly creates an atmosphere, who transports you through his cathedrals of sound."
